Garry is a former chair of Durham University Jewish Society and has worked with King David School, Bnei Akiva in Manchester and for the United Synagogue. He has a first class honours BSc degree in Maths from Manchester University and has studied at yeshivot in the USA and Israel. Suzanne, who attended Jewish schools in London, has a first class honours degree in politics from Queen Mary University. She has carried out community work in London, the USA and Israel.

Garry and Suzanne have two young children and very much look forward to working closely with Jewish students across Scotland and North East England.
