Northern Region has just recruited a new chaplaincy couple for the new academic year, but unfortunately the economic pressures mean that some of our traditional funders and trusts have not been able to support us in the manner to which they would want to or have done in the past.  We are therefore looking to try and raise an extra £10,000 over the next two years to ensure our full time Chaplaincy couple for the students continues in Northern Region, which as you all know is the most critical appointment in the whole of the British Jewish community.

Mad Mike appeared FOR ONE NIGHT ONLY as the guest of honour at a Friends of Northern Region Chaplaincy event in London on Thursday 11th June.  

Strangely we have managed to find a pub to host this unique event and it just so happens to serve draught Scottish beer and it may also have a small supply of holy liquid.  The Albannach is a Scottish bar situated on Trafalgar Square a few minutes walk from Charing Cross tube station.  http://www.albannach.co.uk/home/location.asp
